John William Folker was born in 1859. He married Clara Lake and they had two sons and one daughter.

Thomas Richard Folker was born in 1861 and died in 1950. It is not known if he married or had children

Laura Gertrude Folker was born in 1865. She married Robert Lawrence but she died soon after in 1885.

George Lawson Folker was born in 1867 and died in 1939. It is not known if he married or had children

Mary Alicia Folker was born in 1859. She married Whidden Allison Harvey and they had one son and two daughters.

Fred Whitney Folker was born in 1859. Following his father, he went to sea at an aerly age. He married Grace Louisa Meyer and they had one son. The booklet titled Hantsport on Avon recalls that 'Captain Fred' as he was generally known, was Master of 12 ships and was long in the employ of the New York and Porto Rico S S Co. He received a medal from the French Government. His last ship was the passenger ship Coamo which, on 18 August 1936, was the first large ship to navigate into the port of Trugillo City in the Dominican Republic. For that he was presented with the medal of the Order of 'Juan Pablo Duarte' grade of Knight, which was their highest order. Fred retired in 1939 to his home on the river Avon in which he had a 'Captains Cabin' furnished as his cabin aboard ship.
