Marsham Folker is first found in the census of 1841 with his wife Elizabeth. He was a Revenue Officer of the Excise. They had four children, Jane, Richard, Sarah and Elizabeth. According to the 1841 census, Marsham and Elizabeth were living in Wapping. By 1851 he had retired and they were living in Croydon, Surrey. Elizabeth was registered as deaf. Marsham died in Croydon in 1854 and Eliza the following year.

Jane was baptised in Croydon on 1 August 1810.

Twins Richard and Sarahwere baptised on 1 October 1815 in Croydon. Richard was employed as a cellarman at the time if his death in croydon in 1849.

Eliza was baptised on 21 May 1821 at St.Dunstan in Stepney. She was living with the family in Croydon according to the census of 1851 then married John Post at St.Lukes Church in Whitechapel on 22 August 1858. It is not known if they had children.
